About Us
We started this site because we kept running into the same problem: pages about offshore casinos that either cheered everything on or warned against everything, with very little in between. Readers who already understand the basics deserve something more useful, namely a clear view of what changes when you play outside the British licensing and self-exclusion system, and what that costs you.
What we focus on
Our team writes explainers rather than verdicts. Instead of telling you where to sign up, we set out the trade-offs so you can weigh them yourself. That usually means looking at things like:
- Licensing and recourse: who oversees a site, and what happens if a dispute goes nowhere.
- Payments and withdrawals: verification steps, processing times and the small print around limits.
- Bonus terms: wagering conditions, game restrictions and how quickly an offer can lose its shine.
- Player protection: which safer-gambling tools exist, and which ones you may have to set up on your own.
How we keep things honest
Every point we make should trace back to published terms, operator information or the rules that apply to UK players. If we can't support a claim, we leave it out. We also revisit pages when terms change, because a guide that was right last season can quietly become wrong.
We're equally upfront about the downside. Sites outside the British framework sit beyond the national self-exclusion scheme, and that matters. If you've registered with it, or feel your gambling is slipping out of control, we'd rather you close this tab and reach out to a support service than read another word here.
Talk to us
We read every message and use reader feedback to sharpen our explanations, so if something looks outdated, unclear or simply wrong, please contact us and let our team know.
